Q-Pets Meowish: Cat Photography X Handwritten Project Exhibition From 14th to 27th November in Mong Kok Flagship Store

Q-Pets, the leading pet care retail brand in Hong Kong, has rejuvenated its outlook earlier this year, dedicating itself to promoting the brand philosophy of "Re-Home" and being "Your Purrfect Local Pet Store." From 14th to 27th November, Q-Pets flagship store is hosting its first brand promotion event - the Meowish: Cat Photography X Handwritten Project Exhibition. This exhibition collaborates with the Hong Kong street cat photographer @cheungchau_guidemeow and the handwritten calligrapher @chaucharliechau to pair a series of street cat photos with creative calligraphy. This innovative approach not only captures the emotions of our cat friends but also delves into the stories of our local communities and the cats that inhabit them.

The inspiration for the exhibition comes from an everyday question: "你講咩話？(What are you talking about?)" Cats communicate with us in unique ways, including through their meows, actions, and subtle eye contact. This exhibition captures the warmth of life with adopted cats, transforming everyday moments into heartfelt photos and calligraphy. It showcases 19 photographs of cats, offering glimpses into their daily lives. Highlights include "大舊衰," the cat manager at Q-Pets, a shop cat lounging in a feng shui store, and the commanding Nana, who sprawls across the display in an herbal medicine shop.

The exhibition also collaborates with the Hong Kong animal welfare organization, Paws Guardian Rescue Shelter (PGRS). During the exhibition, donors contributing $100 or more will receive a set of "Meowish" postcards, which includes 8 designs that feature the exhibition’s artworks. Each postcard is also available for purchase at $20, with all proceeds supporting PGRS and its dedicated volunteers, who provide medical treatment and search for homes for local stray animals.
